What a day!!!

Today was a crazy day. We got up early, loaded up the car and headed into town for breakfast before heading home. After breakfast at McDonalds, we discovered that one of our tires was low so after filling it up and seeing that it wasn't holding air, we found a place to have it checked out. Turned out that we needed a new tire... the place was great and two new tires and several hundred dollars later we were back on the road to Angela's graduation party. We arrived at the party at around four o'clock and had an amazing time. It really was a great party! Warning: Lots of pictures to follow....

Such a great party! We really had so much fun until....

At around 9:30 tonight, we got a phone call from Scott's brother letting us know that they were taking dad to the hospital in Wausau, WI (where they stopped on their way home). Turns out he had a heart attack and had three arteries that were 100, 95, and 40 percent blocked. He had a stint put in the one that was 100% blocked and will have the other one done back here in Illinois when he gets home. It was very scary waiting to hear how he was doing and not being there. Scott and I both felt better after we actually got to speak to dad. He sounded good and said that he was out of pain... thank goodness. What a crazy end to a crazy week!
