Smoothies!

Today we were so lucky to have Andrew and Daniel over to play for a while.  The boys played great together and had such a nice time.  The first thing the boys wanted to do was make smoothies.  So we did and they were yummy!

After smoothies, the boys decided to change into costumes to save the world.  There was some catching of bad guys and throwing them in jail.  The lightsabers were the weapons of choice.

This picture cracks me up... they were pretending to be on an iceberg (a rug) and were trying not to fall in the water.  Good actors!

Noah has a bin in his room with all those little toys you're never sure what to do with... Andrew LOVES this bin.

 After playing for a while, we decided to take a walk down to the forest preserve just a block and a half away from our house to see if we could see some deer.  We were in luck!  We saw four and the boys were so excited. 

Daniel was taking a picture with his phone for his mom... so sweet!  He then pretended to call her right afterwards to tell her all about the deer.

Notice the only kid over the "do not enter" rope??  Yep, that would be mine.

After deer hunting we headed home for some hot chocolate with marshmallows, more playing and dinner.  Such a fun afternoon! Can't wait to have the Focht boys over again soon!
